Twenty years ago Edwin Rahardjo decided to establish his own . At that time you would find only few good artists and collectors in Indonesia. Today Edwin’s Gallery is a famous place in Kemang (Kemang Raya No. 21). And a great place for people interested in contemporary art. Edwin is not only an artist himself – he is also Head of the Indonesian Association of Art Galleries. So it was a good idea to show his work (Kinetic Art) and interview Edwin, for our TV-film on Jakarta, in one oft the most vibrant sections of the capital, together with Ties Setianingtyas, our first Assistent Director. Eat, Pray, Chill.

“‘Rupa by Fansack’ aligns with the unique Art@JPlus experience, marrying eastern-inspired art with a distinct French influence. This reflects our own DNA of French influence courtesy of a Philippe Starck designed space paired with the locality of modern Chinese culture.”
Displayed at the Hotel and around the lobby, “Rupa” by Fansack is curated to showcase specially commissioned art pieces created for J Plus Hotel by YOO which will engage guests and visitors of the exhibition in a unique, transcendental way.
